How do I save animated GIFs?

I see lots of animated gifs all over that I want to use but when I save them all I get is a still pic. Whats the trick?

I thought the same thing when I first tried saving them. You think you only have a still but if you open them in a web browser you find you have the animation. It was confusing at first but I realized eventually it is no different than saving any other file.
