4th of July Mushroom Hunt , Florida Find

I live in Va and have spent the last few months studying and hunting for mushrooms. Since Va doesn't have any active species that grow with any quantity it was a thrill when I found out I was going to Florida.
Well after a long day of hunting I found many very cool shrooms including some Panaeolus antillarum right from cow dung, many types of boletes. Only 3 I haven't been able to identify as they are very new to me and I cant find matches. I'll use this thread to try to help me ID the most promising one.
I did not find anything resembling a P Cubensis on any dung however, on a fresh grass patch on the side of a hill, with watch looked like to be manure fertilizer I found 5 of these. It is in Central Florida.
I apologize for the not so great photos.

Bad lighting on both the undersides so i shall post both.

Gills - Looks to be Free and Equal from stem although they could have at a point in maturing been adnexed. The gills before and right after I picked them were very thick with blue- blue green spores. The gills are grey/purple but stain blue on fingers.
Stem - Yellow to brown color, thick fibrous texture, almost woody like. It measured about 3.60 inches in length.
Stem Ring - About mid way down the stem. It is fairly secure with dark black edges and a white color close to the stem itself.
Cap - Umbonate with a nipple like dark brown/copper top. Its diameter is about 3.50 inches and is fleshy texture. Its white/grey white from the edge to the nipple. The nipple is about 3/4 inch to 1 inch and copper/dark brown in color, also firm fleshy feel.
Spore Print - I am creating the spore print as we speak, but I was so eager to post before I went to bed. With a quick look, a dark brown/greenish-blue print looks like. I promise in the morning I will edit with final results.
Smell - Well, hard for a first timer, but it a significant "mushroom" order, maybe a bit bitter smelling.
If I missed anything please let me know and I will try to correct it.
Thanks!

That's the common, and currently being found all the time, Chlorophyllum molybdites, a very nasty poisonous mushroom that causes more poisonings than any other kind of mushroom in North America.
Happy mushrooming!

Those things are very common on lawns in the summer, there's usually a lot of them too. They probably took on that bluish tint because they're kinda old and skanky looking.
As ToxicMan said, they're very very poisonous. ToxicMan told us a story about a lady that ate them. Apparently she was in so much pain that she wished someone would just kill her to put her out of her misery.
Here's a fresh one that I found:

Great picture gumby. You can really appreciate the greenish tint of the gills of a mature specimen. This is a mushroom that everyone should really be familiar with. This one will get people who think they have an edible Macrolepiota, or even careless cube hunters.

You've got "Green Gills" for sure. Chlorophyllum molybdites.
It amazes me that not many people from Florida have reported summer Cube hauls yet. Cube season just has not started yet for us. I suppose that if I had a really great field to hunt shrooms on that I would already be finding a few cubes or Copelandia out there. At work today we were in a horse pasture and all I saw was a few of the non-active Panaeolus antillarum growing from horse dung. I also saw a few nice Bolete mushrooms growing..a red capped Russula, some inky caps (Coprinus), and a very small puffball.
Anyways, shroom season is just around the corner.

ok my thoughts on Chlorophyllum molybdites. back in my amateur days, i took this shroom on advice of a friend, who I had put my trust in. I have tripped dozens of times off of cubes, and the feeling this shroom gave me was much different. I only took maybe 10g fresh, the first few hours werent that unpleasant at all, a trippy feeling. but more like death if that makes any sense. I definately was feeling some amount of wierdness which increased for a few hours, then i sat down on the john, feeling bloated and proceeded to diahreeah and vomit at the same time for several agonizing minutes. oddly enough afterwards I felt cleansed, like this poisonous mushroom had done me some good. but i know this wasnt the case. my kidneys were tender for about a week. everything smelled like shrooms for a few days. Shit solidified soon after. i too mistook some of the fallen green spores on the stem for blue bruising. if it dont bruise blue, it aint true. i guess this should be a motto for shroom eaters

There have been reports from Africa that Green Gills are psychoactive. I'm skeptical about that tho.
It is a poisonous mushroom for sure. I've heard some people will eat them and not get sick, but for the most part they will make people sick.
I've also read that you can parboil Green Gills and then they are suitable to eat for some people.
If I accidently ate poisonous mushrooms I would not hesitate to get to the emergency room.

im not one to fall for a placebo, but I genuinely felt very altered after eating about a quarter of a cap of a large green gill. The effects lasted for a while, felt pretty good, then some bloating, constipation, puking, than diahreeah. I do remember walking down the hotel hallway and seeing very intense fractals from the crzy patterns on the carpet. it was at this point my feelings took a turn for the worse. I considered the ER, but I could tell I was getting better after like an hour total of sick feeling. So I would say that green gills have some toxic psychoactive like effect on the body, not comparable to that of psilocybin, closer to a mild salvia. My friend took as much as me and did not feel any ill effect. he also felt effects from it. I mixed mine with OJ, and drank lots of grape juice after eating it. dont try it - i dont ever remember puking so violently since i hit grandpappys dollar store burbon as a kid. Anyone ever try that
