I dont' mind it sometimes if I am in the right kind of mood. Not always tho. There are a few country songs that I really like a lot.
Diamond Rio; Unbeleiveable Garth Brooks; Ain't going down Faith Hill; This Kiss
Probably some other Garth Brooks tunes, too. That guy can really write a good song.

Garth is the first person I started listening to in country. Don't care for much, but some of it is just too good to pass up.

i was 20, and she was 18, we were just about as wild as we were green in the ways of the world.

Alan Jackson is alright, too. I actually bought one of his CDs...it's probably the only country CD that I own. It's a greatest hits one, and it's pretty good.
He also writes good songs. Cowboys write with thier hearts.

Well I love her But I love to fish I spend all day out on this lake And hell is all I catch Today she met me at the door Said I would have to choose If I hit that fishin' hole today She'd be packin' all her things And she'd be gone by noon
Well I'm gonna miss her

can't you say that about many genres you don't necessarily prefer, though? the majority is disagreeable, but every now then.....

LOL, just leave that station on. Trust me, you'll hear it again within the hour. My boss used to play country radio where I worked, and I'd swear there are only 12 country songs in existence. They just play the same ones over and over again.
