I wanted to get a right now thing happenning too but did not get there, instead, I negotiated with myself and several hours later, i exhaled early to make the no-sitter situation more realistic.
then I had to lie down and stop writing because I was becoming a plant. not really but really very much so (more than can be conveyed anyway). vital green & vegetal welts were emerging on my limbs and I wanted to - had to lie down and close eyes.
after that I was not a plant I was a universe. the next 6 minutes were god like, or at least tremendously angellic. all I can say is I need to do this more often. (is it possible?)

Wow ShroomieOfDoomie that was a good report! Did you use 1.2gr total or 1.7? Your thread proves no artificial manipulations are necessary: chewing the leaves, if plentiful, is just fine!

Amazing that you can do this! Salvia to me has no incentive to repeat whatsoever.
By that I mean: for an experience as interesting and valuable as it is I after a sitting feel no incentive whatsoever to repeat the experience. I'm not turned off, I'm merely not turned on.
It is the weirdest thing: you would expect such an interesting experience would at least leave a desire to do it again, either on the day after or in the same week, just as ANY psychoactive does with me. But no! It just slips from my mind and I only get the urge months later.
I think there's a powerful anti-addictive effect to Salvia, I wouldn't be surprised that it may end binge use of another substance, in a way like Ibogaine does.
And then there's the Days After, in which you're a delightful tad more at peace with the world.. but still no urge to repeat it. Could it be that Salvia has an antidepressant effect that results in a peace which reduces the urge to use substances in the subsequent days? That would be particularly exciting!
But please redgreenvines, tell us how you do it Do you feel a push to use it, or being less at ease on a stretch where you cannot use? Are there *any* beneficial or detrimental effects you experience from your use? Can you "handle" the experience better? Is there *any* loss of magic or tolerance?
You, redgreenvines, are at the very frontier of Salvia divinorum, vaporizing full doses of pure salvinorin four times a week. If anything remarkable (good or bad) will happen to salvia users, it will probably happen to you. So please do share!
I made a dedicated thread where people can give an overview of their Salvia experiences, please take part in it, all a y'all!

well just level 4, 4 times a week, with an occasional level 5 and level3 as the dose can be innaccurate. I can't just push it or force it to be done more often, I guess what is good is the growing sensibility of whether it is a good time or not.
but salviaspace is something I am highly interested in. it is the dream wolrd but it is also like a blending of the ordinary world and some science fiction magic fantasy.
I get no reduction in potency from frequency. and no obvious health defects.
no diminishing of magic effects at peak or after.
what I think might be happenning is that I am finding ways to remember traces better and to bring those into regular life, and to measure if it is a good time to step right into salvia space or not.
to me it is important to bring the remembered traces out raw, not composed or interpreted, they are not my things only, and they are not things that have to be forced on anyone else either.
there is a lot of space for magic that will not negatively impinge on this regular world. I guess I keep going back for more glimpses of this extra space, and to see how to make it work with ordinary life beneficially.
I can't imagine not liking it immensely, but we are all in different configurations - to me this is most like home.

Do you use pure salvinorin powder applied to paper? How do you effectively measure your doses? If I remember correctly pure salvinorin-A is active at doses as low as 200mcg.

It is probably active at 200mics using very effective techniques I find 350 mics much more compelling (right to level 4) when smoked in one fast inhallation. I guess ShroomieOfDoomie is working on more than 10 times that with his effective quid, using longer lasting but slower oral absorption.
Code:
compare the impact of quantity of salvinorin: -------smoking-------oral/quid---tea----level mild----150mics------4000mics---10mg---II medium--300mics------8000mics---20mg---III --me&ShroomieOfDoomie@lvl3-4 strong--450mics-----12000mics---30mg---IV-V toomuch-800mics-----20000mics---50mg---V-VI -------------------------------------------- compare duration of each aspect of effect: -------smoking-------oral/quid---tea----level onset----30 secs-----10mins------5mins rampup---30 secs------2mins------2mins peak----3-6 mins-----20 mins-----20mins rampdown--1 min------20mins------20mins sloppy---60 mins-----120mins----120mins total less than ---------90 mins------3hours-----3hours
The how to is at http://tinyurl.com/b3zcb which sphere shows best
apologies for the side twist in this thread ninety degrees to oral use and not even right now.

the blotter method for salvinorin is a dud.
I cautioned that guy, and others, who did waste lots of good material.
with the cigarette paper method they can orally dose with 20-50 smoked doses in a big chew (1/2 to one cigarette paper) that is only as big as a small piece of chewing gum.
if they like that great. but the rest of the papers can still easily be smoked. anyway a salvinorin blotter or quid or anything wont work just held under the tongue like LSD, it must be chewed to encourage salvinorin onto the mucosa. Salvinorin is a hydrophobic waxy crystal at body temperature.
those coffee filter blotter guys had to toss'em or reextract the filters or smoke coffee filter - yeuchh!

for some reason, i have not been able to feel salvia through chewing or sublingual application. I have tried chewing fresh leaves, dried leaves, chewing extract, and even tried the liquid extract, to no avail.
never have any problems smoking the extract, or even just the 1x leaf. and all-in-all that fishfood-rubber-nastiness taste just isnt worth further experimentation (not to mention the cost...)
