OK, since my camera can only do 4-pixel resolution I thought I would be better off just doing an ms paint diagram. Here it is:

No laughing. (By the way, there should be a lid sitting on top, but it isn't in the diagram)
So, fresh and humid air comes from the cool mist humidifier output at the top of the bin. The stale air (CO2) is dense, so it should gather at the bottom and spill out from the holes before reaching cake-level. The effect could even be exaggerated by making the lid airtight, so that the pressure difference from the humidifier causes old air to rush out of the holes at a constant rate (don't know why that would be important, maybe its just my ocd).
Anywhich, I'm sure someone has tried this before, I just wanted some opinions/suggestions before I start carving my chamber up.
By the way, does anyone think that this alone is sufficient air exchange for cubes?

Looks good to me.

It's way, way more than enough. I think a lot of people here are nearly fanning their cakes to death. The humidifier is also somewhat of overkill, the perlite should provide enough humidity. But it's good for the FAE. Some people fan so much that they have to constantly mist all the time.

Yeah, just use the perlite. If you are going on vacation and you need some FAE, that would be a great setup. Otherwise, I'm siding with FF all the way on this one.
