Can I get an ETA? (pics)

They've been in the FC for a week. Rye jars (from mediummania.com), spawned to HighMountainCompost, cased with coir/verm and a dash of oyster shell. I have an air stone bubbling in h2o2 for FAE with no humidity loss. Temp is constant 75 degrees, humidity is probably 100%. My meter only displays up to 95%.
What do you guys think? How long until pins? How long until finish?

I would guess about 7-10 days if propperly temped/humidified

Just wanted to add that that casing looks great. You should have a very nice pinset. GL and keep us updated with some pics please.

Man I hope it's 7. I have to leave town in a week, I was hoping 2 weeks in the FC was long enough(my first grow). Looks like I'm cutting it close. Anything I can do to pick up the pace? Lower the temp to 72?

I read that's ok for pins. I was planning on lowering it a bit when I got a pin set.

You don't want the humidity that high. The casing layer provides its own micro climate. If your humidity is too high it will decrease your transpiration rate and that isn't good for the pinset. Please correct me if this is bs.

I concur. If you want even more of a microclimate besides the casing layer, use crumpled wax paper.
for casings, I keep humidity at: 85-90%. No more or less.

Looking good for your first casing. Post pictures of the results I'm interested in how this turns out.

I lowered the humidity by increasing FAE, it's now around 85%. Should I lower temperature as well to 72F? I need to do everything possible to finish the first flush within the week.

Ok, the humidity is now at a constant 90%, and the temp is down to 71. I'm wondering if I should just pause the whole thing now instead of risking having to pause during a flush, which I imagine will cause everything growing to abort. What do people here think? Refridgerate now, or see if they pin AND flush within 6 days(leaving town). I feel stupid about putting myself into this situation. I thought I had enough time last week.

ehh i would just leave them be. This is why i only setup automated systems that require no maintanence. I like the idea that i can leave for a couple of days and not have to worry about anything..

I could do that with my system, it does not require fanning or anything. But I'll be gone for a whole week. Won't the fruits be soggy or rotten or something by the time I get back? It's perfectly bad timing.

Update: I put them into the fridge. I'm thinking it's better to delay the first flush than it is to cause a sea of aborts. I'll post some updated photos in a few weeks when I get some pins.

FAE doesn't have to be insane. Fanning 2-3x a day is sufficient. I wouldn't sacrifice RH for FAE at this point.
My guess is 2-4 days before the appearance of pins, another week after that until harvest. So 9-11 days.

I got back in town, put the trays in the FC. It's been a week, I saw knots yesterday, woke up to pins! YeeHaaw!! I'll post some pics in a day or two.
