Hello, upon going out to a local lake where it is common to find rotting wood debris and leaf litter hoping to find psilocybe caerulipes, although no psilocybe speciments were collected, a few different types were collected, I do know non of these are actives, but i would like to know more information for a scrapbook of local mushrooms.
1) Orangish in color, have not spore print it yet, stem and cap same color no bruising on any color and was growing from leaf litter and rotting wood.

2) brown cap, (LBM) , white stem , no veil, havent spore print the habitat was leaf litter and rotting wood.

* these specimens where found in different areas, but in the same type of medium, during the whole trip I observed various fungi in various location on same type of medium in a 1 mile ratio, but never cluster near each other.

The first one looks to be a couple Cantrell's melded together.. The second one looks to be a Conocybe due to the light colored stem and the bulbous kinda root ball on the base of the stem. A spoor print will tell more ..
This is just my 2 cents.. Also a bit more could be told if your photos were a little better as far as being more in focus and closer to the subject being photographed..

yeah, i was thinking that the first may have been a cantrelle strain. but spore printing maybe hard since some of the specimens were dedigrated.

A definite Chanterelle ......Cantharellus cibarius
The other not a Conocybe.. You want to go and find a 100 more of those Chantys where theres one theres usually more under the same tree hiding.....Chantys have a distinct smell...
