Alright ive never odne this, and i wanan grow ona budget 20-30$ i was wondering what would be the best kit to get, I saw the microjar kit i guess thats spoce to be pretty good.
But umm yeah i wanted ot know wat would be cheap, what the yeild should be around (dry). And like looking at the stuff, i know u inject and wait for the white flufy stuff to colonize (im not to sure wat the word is right now for the white fluffy stuff just cant think of it) and then wait like a month or so, but then theres diffrent artlices on fruting them and taking them out? Wouldnt that like contaminate them taking them out of the bag or jar? Could i just leave everything in the jar...
Sorry to post all these questions at once

Read until you can't read anymore, then read some more. I had to wait an agonizing two weeks for my first spore syringe, but the wait was actually beneficial.

yeah, i swear the vendors can sense newbies and force them to wait an extra week just so they have nothing better to do than read and gather supplies. haha

Alright well thank you for that stuff, but thats still with me fruiting in an aquarium, i really don't have the money, so what i really wanna know, is There any link where i can buy everything all set up (w/o the spores of course) And then all i really gotta do is inject and shake and wait, for the most part, Like i don't have resources to get a separate thing for fruiting... Like what about a grow bag then should i just get one of those that come with the casing layers and everything to fruit (i don't got a problem fruiting in a different thing i just want to buy everything all set up. But fairly cheaply... Like may be a maximum of 50$ including spores?
Edit: reading more i see that my est results would be watiting to get a pressure cooker and my own agar and just doing it all manually. Gonna cost me more money and gonna tkae me a lot longer to get everything. But reading
i should only be getting a gram of fresh mushrooms per 1 gram of substrate and buying pre starilzed jars, im prolly only gonan get a maximum of 3.5-7 grams dried right?
Unless sum1 can give me an idea on a yeild, cuz every forum ive asked on ppl just say depends on the strain.. So can any1 post who Has personally grown using a baughten prestarlized grow bag or jar and post wat strain they used Plus the yeild? Just to get an idea or hte average yeild?

***post deleted***
***Post was full of non Shroomery Vendor urls*** I pretty much could save any of it!~ Please don't post links to non Shroomery Vendors that sell the same products(substrates and spores)that our Vendors sell!~ This is against Shroomery rules!~
thank you!~

But i dont wanan do that first time trying, just wanan do it easy all made pretty much error free just to get an idea of it first. That way i know what looks like what and whats it gonan do but not actually have do do that much work the first time. SO yeah ive read TOns of guides and and i see how easy it would sitll be to do my self, but for first time just premade.

There is actually a very easy way to do it and it can yeild surprizing results, and the process takes much less time than casings. It is absolutely perfect for a beginner. If you are growing them for yourself, you can yeild 20 times more than you need, it just depends how many cakes you are using.
What you need is: - A large pot to boil/steam the jars in. The water should go about 1 inch up the 1/2 pint jar(wash cloth or some shit at the bottom to avoid too much heat transfer). Boil for 1.5 hours - 1.75. -a sterile, breeze-free room, (dont breath on your jars and tie your hair back when inoculating) - a heat pad -a large bucket or trashcan(or more depending on how many cakes you intend on fruiting), and a syran wrap top. A light(grow light or other). paper towels for moisture. Separate cakes from paper towel using the lid, (or skip this relatively unimportant step). Get the humidity right by using common sense, and bunch up joint sized paper towels if the humidity is too low at any point. -jars, spores, and vermiculite/ brown rice flower. - Give them air whenever you get the chance. Waiving air at them with some pretty clean object works VERY well If you can get around to doing that 2 times a day. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Repeat cycles using sterilized mycelium in water form.
It provides for an endless source of spore-like growing material. Save your syringes, and to sterilize them suck boiling water into the syringe a good few times before sucking in mycelium water. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Recipe for mycelium water:
The moment you take the cake out of one of your jars from the first batch, cut the top off (1.5 inches or more). And mix it with water in a sterile environment including the container you mix/crush/destroy it in. The goal is to have a large batch of myc water. With one cake I would imagine you could inoculate about 50-80 jars, maybe even 100 if you did it right. You sure as hell can inoculate 40 jars with a half of a 1/2 pint cake, and thats why I say this. Still, the thicker the myc water the better. So you often would only want to make say, 15-20 jars from 1.5 inches worth of a cake. The cake you make the myc-water from can become a bit fatigued and wont grow much on its first flush. It will make it a pretty weak cake all around.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have never experienced anything when using just the cake form except 100% success. Lots and lots of shrooms. No real worry about contamination if done the right way. SOme cakes seemed to be capable of 4-5 flushes if dunked between each flush. Some cakes grew 3 fat shrooms. Some grew 7-9. SOme grew one fat shroom, and tons of little ones. And thats just in 1 or 2 flushes. I have had cakes that actually grew atleast 4-4.5 dry grams in total.
This is my method........to each his own.
