Casing without vermiculite!

Unfortunanetly I haven't been able to find vermiculite in my area (I don't live in the US or UK so dont bother reccomending shops there) and have to case soon.
Is there a casing recipe without vermiculite? I will keep looking in the meantime for recipes.
Thanks

I've used perlite/peat before with ok results. The perlite helps to aerate the casing layer, but also tends to dry out faster than vermiculite so be sure to mist more often. Look in your area for anything you can find to 'fluff up' the peat. You want your casing layer nice and loose. Don't forget lime and gypsum. RR

You can also use any soilless potting mix with ok results.

I thought it would be easy to find verm, put it proved impossible so far. Its just not used much I guess. I kinda left it for the last moment.
The perlite/peat idea is feasible.
