I'm an admitted novice. When I first worked with the myco bags, I thought I was growing a bag of mold, but it was mycelium. Well, I opened it and took a photo to post here and learned everything was going fine, but the bag never recovered from being opened to air and no mushrooms grew. However, with my fruiting bags, it seems like I can open them countless times to take outmature mushrooms and then tape them back up to wait for more.

fyi,

Tappuck

yes it would be a bad idea......cause your room probably doesn't have the correct humidity....and the little grow going in a tuberware pastic box would dry up.

So....find something else bigger to put it in.
