ok,
4th time lucky?,
found some great samples today,
Sample 1: Cap: The cap is brown/orange (more orange), on some species there is a difinitive lighter circle on the top, however on some there is none. Stem: The stem was 100% white when picked, i can see darkening in what resembles blue, however I have never seen it before so I do not know. The stem, is made up by strands and is quite 'rubbery' Habitat: I found these amougnst the grass under Pinus Radiata trees Spore: just did them, they are orange as I said below
Sample 2: Cap: The cap is 'elephant' grey to lighter grey on the edges Stem: the stem is black, not sure if it was after or before picking. Habitat: I found these amougnst the grass under Pinus Radiata trees Spore: Give me a couple of hours and it will be here!
PICS!!

It would be nice to have the spore print color for #1.
#2 could be a mycena, as it has that look to it - on my monitor anyways. The pictures are kind of dark though. If so, the print should be white, (not with a pinkish hue). Either way, it's not an active.

ok, spore print is back in for sample #1,
it is dark orange/light brown but I can see orange for sure, so that rules out Psyclobie. any actives in AUS with orange spores?

Orange + light brown = rust. I think you may have a Galerina on your hands.

Thats what i was thinking aswell. It also has a partial veil on the stem which makes it more suspect.
