I got one Salvia divinorum paradox strain (seed grown by daniel siebert) cutting just now forming root nodes, but don't really want to ship it very far, they're pretty rare and I'd hate for it to die enroute. Any northern californian's or western nevadians feel free to PM me. I'm looking for ayahuasca analogue cuttings other than P. Viridis, or whatever else you might have laying around that you think would make a good trade. Edit Sorry, gone.

well... being that i'm in israel i know it's gonna be hard to get my hands on one it'd have to be someone from europe i guess so this goes out to our dutch crew? i know that once ya'll have established a few plants you'd want to spread the genome around so don't forget me
i'd pay for shipping and give spores if needed (i've got GTs and Thai KS) i also have some passion fruit seeds if anyone is interested, i have no idea which cultivar they are but i've been eating the fruits for the past month so they're safe to eat and the flowers are AMAZING!
i'd also be commited to spreading it as much as i can once i got it established! there are already a few more people i know who are interested in cultivating SD over here and might contribute other ethno seeds for a trade (although they're not shroomery members... i can either midiate or take the trade on my self... i don't care about being the first one with a cutting, i'm in no hurry... as long as there will be available cuttings later on in israel ) so please PM if you can help or if you're looking for a trade!
p.s W_S good thread! thanks for pushing this along! we all should help make all these ethno plants as accesible and free as spores are!

I have been seeking Sally for a long while now. Has been a dream to obtain the various strains, but probably not very likely.
Anyhow, I have P. mexicana, a few Pan cyan, and different cubes. Also pereskiopsis cuttings. PM me.
**Edit after reding the next post, and then remembering the first: I am in the NE US, approximately 100 miles SW of NYC.

Can someone get Simisu a cutting please? he's in a strategic location (Israel) from a world map point of view
Northern America, Western Europe and Australia/Tasmania will likely be saturated on their own but Israel is a nice remote point to break open a new region. Of greater importance are areas where entheogens are rare, such as Israel which is the gateway into the Middle East and Africa, areas in dire need of being covered. Do we have people in South America, Africa and Asia who want in? It would be wonderful if this thread put Salvia on all continents, and that need not be a pipe dream
We are the Shroomery Ethnobotanical Garden Forum - the World is our Garden!
Simisu, would there in Israel be places perpetually above 10'C and not too dry, where Salvia could thrive in the wild? To anyone living in non-frost areas it would be wise to put out outdoor clones in the wild as a backup.

Simisu: I am also Israeli. I have received three cuttings from the US (specifically, from ToolTroll - great trader) without any problems. The cuttings were rooted, the roots wrapped in moist absorbent tissue, and placed in a tube. Apparently this method works well for overseas shipping. A mint cutting that was sent this way in the same package likewise arrived in good condition. Perhaps ToolTroll could delineate exactly what steps he took for preparing and packaging those cuttings - could be great advice for the traders here. (unfortunately, while two of the cuttings survived the transplantation into soil, they were later lost to spidermites)
Anyhow, as a fellow Israeli, I'm sure we have plenty of off-topic matters to discuss. Send a PM.
Oh, and yes - I am also (again) looking for a SD cutting from any member here.
As for the Israeli climate - in the very least all the coastal cities would have perfect conditions (mild winters, high humidity) for growing in the wild. They would probably have to be planted in shade, though.

Which sponsor sells LIVE saliva cuttings? Do they have roots? I have not seen any.
Don't you think Wiccan Seeker would have suggested the sponsor instead of starting this thread?
Your quote REALLLLY bothers me, maybe you are right, but how about the solution ( a link to the sponsor) instead of just a complaint. I know i would be willing to buy from a sponser more than from some random user.

Good point, but they require a purchase of something like $32 dollars as their minimum, not including shipping. This is more a little more practical.

I wasn't aware one of our Shroomery sponsors in fact sold live cuttings. I have changed this thread tobe a thread about the supply and demand of the TRADE in Salvia cuttings. The details of this are best settled between giver and receiver in PM.

I would be extremely happy to receive a cutting or rooted Salvia Divinorum plant. Like others here I collect entheogenic plants, and it would go to a very caring home. Please PM me and we can work out a trade or cash transaction. I'm in the Albuquerque (New Mexico) area, however I can make my way to Denver, Colorado if necessary.

I'm on the hunt for a live cutting. If anyone can supply one for a reasonable shipping/handling fee or in trade for something please PM me. I don't have much money or tradable goods, so keep that in mind.
I would provide a good home for it and would be happy to send out cuttings to others for free once it got large enough to supply them. Thanks.

WOW thanks for the support Wiccan_Seeker took me some time to come back to this thread... stvip said it well as far as outdoor grows go. we've got some good places to plant salvia in the outdoors (actually there are LOTS of salvia plants growing in my city in gardens and such but obviously not salvia divinorum i bet i could guerrilla plant some of those and no one would notice (might even take care of them with no idea what they are )

hello there... you're like the third on here now (or maybe even fourth?) it's nice to have some local company finely
this is pretty encouraging to hear that a cutting made it all the way from the US safely and rooted successfully... last summer i bought a pineapple sage for practice (taking cuttings and cultivating a sage...) but mine suffered the same fate as yours! spider mites they REALLY like sages i guess...
and as for the outdoor growing, i'd guess much like mints... though you're right about needing shade they'd also require lots of water. also they have an innocent look to'em so it'd be easy spreading them around

Okay, I'm posting to share my shipping method, which has a high success rate, even to Israel. I've also shipped to Canada and all around the U.S. (I'm in the southeast U.S.). First, I take a 3-4 inch cutting from a healthy plant and put it in a drinking glass filled with tap water. This stays on the windowsill for a week or so, maybe change the water once or twice. Then after anout 7-10 days, roots start to form. Once the roots get to about 1/2 inch, I gently wrap the lower half in a damp paper towel. I also cut off most all of the top leaves, leaving only the growing tip. Then I put this cutting into a test tube. I got a bunch of glass test tubes and breathable plastic tops from a local science supply company, and they are the perfect size to hold a cutting, and protect it, keep it humid, and allow it to breathe. Then I just wrap up the tube in newpaper and ship it, 3 day delivery is usually what I go for. I sent out a dozen or more cuttings like this last year, works great. Unfortunately, I'm battling major mites this year, so I don't have any cuttings right now. Maybe this time next month, as I think I'm getting the spider mites under control (fingers crossed). Anyway, good luck to everyone in the propogation of this plant. She's very special and I'm sure with our help she will survive this current round of legislation.
