All of the mushrooms were found in a damp woods, I'm going to post more specifics later, I just wanted to get this up and posted so I wouldn't put it off, I did that the other day and all of my mushrooms got soggey or unidentifiable! So anyway, check them out see if you know anything just from the pictures, and later tonight I will post more specifics when my GF leaves. Thanks SO MUCH! :-D

I belive the top is A. Muscaria. the stem looks semi pink, so wait for a mod to be 100% sure.

The majority of your pictures are of some type of Russula. Many are mildly poisonous, only a few are edible. They are very difficult to ID to species. The russulas are the reddish and orangey ones. The one without gills and the spongy, porous bottom is a bolete of some sort (2 mushrooms directly above the one in your hand in the bottom picture). There are also a few amanitas. Can't tell what the others are - maybe a pluteus in one of those pics? Anyway, I assume you know the rules and will post more info if you want an ID.
Anyway, none of those should be considered edible, and you definitely don't have any psychoactive mushies in there.

Top one is almost definitely a Russula, not A. muscaria. They can have a bit of a resemblence I suppose. You can see from some of the followup pictures though that the gills are attached, and the base of the stem does not have any of the characteristics of an amanita. Plus there is no ring on the stem, and no warts on the cap.

Yep X is correct.. Id say Russula emetica... The Hot Pepper Russula.. Or the Vomiting Mushroom... Take a tid bit the size of a Tic Tac and chew on it... It should have a hot pepper ting about it.. Oh ya spit the tad out!

I'm about to post more info on all of them, but before I do, the small bite I took didn't taste like a hot pepper, at the end of my chewing it did just a LITTLE bit, I can't even be sure, but I want to just keep eating it. Haha, I've had an urge to eat some mushrooms lately, but I know, I know, I won't be illresponsible with that urge, lol, I'll just have to wait till I find some psych/edible ones! :-)

That one is still definitely a russula, they are hard to differentiate. Many of them will make you throw up a lot, so don't eat anymore! None of the mushrooms in you collection are psychoactive. I havent been eating any lol. just havent got sleep in forever. When I first looked at the pic, the top of the red cap looked like it had white dots on it. but I saw the gills looked peculiar. an the stem was pink. What I failed to look for was the veil.

No, lol. Tasting a tiny piece is perfectly safe, and it's an important identification technique. Most field guides will include a description of the taste of a mushroom. Sorry to worry you man.

There are no wine caps in that pile, just red Russulas.

There is no need to chew on a mushroom to identify it......one bite of deadly Amanita can kill you......with Russulas just put your tongue on the gills for a few seconds or so....
Your mushroom 8 pics down is Pluteus cervinus (Deer Mushroom) or a deadly lookalike......usually strong distinct smell and of coarse a Pink spore print...
Your last two pics you are holding are deadly Inocybe
And in the last pic on the table is a Psathyrella with the long white stem which is the same one your holding third pic up from the bottom and also next to that is a Boletus with the dark brown stem with yellow at the top and a brown cap.....these will have a sponge instead of gills underneath the cap if correct.....dont eat any of these.....I could be wrong...
And also it appears that the 7th pic up the one with the bulbed stem base at the bottom may be an Amanita....

Pauvro,
Some good constructive advice.
You need to learn how to post thumbnails of your images. Otherwise it takes too long to open the page and wait for the images to open. Youi have about 30 images on the page. It takes too long to open, making viewers want to look at other threads.
Here is a normal thumbnail

thenonce can click on the image to enlarge and view.
mj
I , as others I knon, also vavoid posts where the pictures take forever to open due to their largte size.
One or two large images are no problem but when you post that many images and then wait up to five minutesd for them to oppen is a pain.
have a shroomy day, cool colelction of images.

Yeah, I agree mj, this post almost crashed my computer. Took forever to load, only to see that others had already covered it.
It has more to do with the fact I'm on a crappy computer right now because my better, faster one needs repaired.

Of course, one should never chew and SWALLOW the unknown mushroom... If you only chew on it for a few seconds, and then spit it out, no mushroom will kill you.

I hear that with the liver and organ damage sometimes you wish it did .......and the purpose of chewing deadly Amanita which are among the most powerful natural toxins known would be........................????
