On 3-1-02 I sent Ryche an order for a print of Plantasia Mystery. It was available at the time on his list. I also put an alternate just in case. . .
The other times I've ordered from him, I've had my product in less than 7 days from dropping in the box. This is a long time for The Hawk.
Is anyone else having a similar prob?

I sent in an order via Pay Pal almost 2 weeks ago and sent an email inquiry about the order as well. Have not received any kind of response from The Hawks Eye eiter... Has anyone had any good luck ordering from there recently?

still waiting on my spores as well... been over a month... mailed the order on 2-7-02... that makes one month and one week, and february is exactly 4 weeks long, so 5 weeks total...

Feb 23, Sent in for ( B+ ) from Hawkeye vendors recomended by shroomery. NOThINGNESS in THE Mail for WEEks, 22 days (to be exact) nothing compared to over a month like some of you. Sent Three emails with no response; Looks, Seems, Smells like I've been HAD! (By the look of this forum we've all been HAD!)
I guess they are out of biz or just like screwing with people. They could easily email us back and let us know if there is a problem. I say we tell others about this Hawkseye slackers and take revenge. I want my shit mane!

The purpose of my post was not to incite a lynching, but to ask if any members of this community knew if there was something up with Ryche.
I've used Ryche Hawk many times in the past--as my above post said, he's very reliable, and I've never seen such a long turn-around time.
Calm yourself. You ain't been "had." He's not "out of biz," and he's never been one to "just like screwing people."
Posts like yours harbor negativity that this place can do without.
We'll all get our supplies--WHEN is the question. Not IF.

i've been holding my tongue about this for a while, simply because i recognize that ryche does have a good reputation around here. but it has been well over a month, and even though he hasn't been responding to anybody's emails, he just updated his spore list yesterday... i just don't want to be down $70, thats all. i trust that this will be resolved, but i also think i have a little bit of a right to be agitated after 5 weeks and one email reply which promised me spores about 2 weeks ago to no avail.

I dont have my order yet either! This is not how you stay in business! I ordered from him almost three weeks ago and still nothing. He will not respond to me either. This is not the first time this has happened to me with him either. It will be the last however.
I plan on going with the little guy...Looks like he has good deals and from reading other posts he is very fast. Can anybody elso confirm this?

I really hate to point this out, but Ryche Hawk hasn't posted on the shroomery in 2.5 weeks. He used to post multiple times a day, then suddenly stopped. See here http://www.shroomery.org/forums/dosearch.php?Cat=&Forum=All_Forums&Words=Ryche%20Hawk&Match=Username&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts.
This probably is one of two things.. hopefully, he just doesn't want to post so that people don't flood him with messages and replies about orders. A friend of mine did receive a reply to an email he sent. The other possibility, which I hate to speculate on, is he ran into some trouble and his operations are being maintained for the purpose of who knows what.. but I know legal entrapment is one of big brother's favorite games. It's probably not the case, but I've seen it happen before in a different situation.
Ryche, reply, let us know you're ok.

All of us have had -sh*t- happen, time & time again. Mama goes off - catchs you getting a BBBJ from the Gal - next door, the server goes down, the HD crash's, tax's are due, going 55 in a 25 & didnt see the smokey - on the bike - behind the bush & all that sort of thing.
I think RH is stand-up & will show up & make it all right. Those of you who have never had sh*t happen - can bitch. Those who have - know how it is - sometimes.
The quality of what RH puts out - is - worth a wait & NO - I am not a sock puppet.

Some people here seem to forget that the Hawk's Eye is a business and as such should be run like one. Other business owners get sick and have things happen and do not shut down because they have a contingency plan, i.e. other people, to back them up. Even if something happened, he could get word to a friend to make an apologetic post here.
My main question would be: have the checks been cashed?

I can relate to the "chronic procrastinator" ploy. .. but what urks me is that; as another poster put it--businesses have contingency plans.
If that contingency plan doesn't include taking care of business when the boss is gone. . .it SHOULD include removing website info such as "We are currently shipping orders 2x per week."
Clearly; this hasn't been the case for at least a month.
God, how I hate the wait game. . . . .. . .

Any one who has followed the OMC for even a 6 month period would realize that Ryche Hawk gets behind on orders quite frequently......also he is notorious for not responding to e-mails.......This happens once every few months.....everyone complains.....Then Ryche comes back to the board and apologizes and then gets working double time to get orders out.....then everyones happy.......then more people order from him.......then he gets backed up......then everyone starts bitching again..............Its ryche's style From what I hear it is well worth the trouble. He's one of the biggest vendors for a reason.
