Will this work as a semi builk substrate?

Today i went grocery shopping, and ran across some whole grain brown rice, also i got some honey for a LC i plan to do next.
Well my thoughts where something like mmm, cook the rice, then get some verm to field capacity with water that has a small amount of coffee and honey, strain rice, then put in a small Tupperware container, or a few of em. Then case with verm/peat?
I know i must seem crazy, and i know that i haven't seen a tek for this, but think really hard.. Mycelium is able to dissolve things like this with enzymes then leech it back for ingestion, so the rice should work?
I appreciate the input, don't flame me either

FLAME FLAME FLAME
no just kidding. I dont think it would work very well. + it would be near impossible to keep a bulk amount steryle.
Why not just do 4 brf cakes and then spawn them to some pasturised leeched horse poopy.

Lol!! I would love to do some horse poo. But my g/f is a lil weird and no matter how much i explain it not like fresh horse shit, and it doesn't stink the more shit she talks I'm thinking of getting some and telling her its just dirt
So you guys wouldn't think it would work well?? I mean to use it like the Rye berrys in big jars? I may just do it to test it.. I should prob make my LC first tho so i don't run out of spores, i only got 3cc's of each of my strains left (B+ and EC)

Rice is no good.
If you want a bulk substrate that works great with no poo smell...
use Coco Coir!

Try horse poo, rice will not work as a bulk substrate.Your g/f will not know its h.poo because when the dung is well aged , it doesn't smell.Coco coir work great too.

If your girlfriend won't let you use poo, pasturized straw is great aswell.
Or just buy pre-pasturized poo from stenstudd
