A friend of mine has let me know that one of his casings has a little bit of green on it, with a slightly lighter shade of brown/yellow around it-
He asks what he should do?
I've not had contaminates so I can't help.
Thanks.

No I know I can't give much without pics, but this is a solid darker green with a grey around the outside on a casing..I'm trying to figure out how I can eliminate it, or isolate it or something !

It's a goner if it's as bad as it sounds. Get it outta your grow area, and start again. Toss it in the trash or bury it in the yard, just get rid of it.

green means sporulated. it's too late.
it has to be removed immediately!!!!!
the grey or whatever is probably mold that has not sporulated yet.
get rid of it now!!!!!!!!!!!
into the back yard or woods or whatever.
now your friend has to clean, like a crack head.
no stopping trich, sorry.
you could try putting some hydrated lime directly onto the mold. this might stop the sporulating.
it's very hard, I know, but it has to be scrapped.
next time have more FAE and a higher ph in your casing.
