Neither are active.
The first specimen looks has that Lactarius/Russula look to it.. was there any kind of latex present when cut or broken? Not sure if that discoloration is just rotting or a result of the latex or something else. If you slice it up good with a knife, you should be able to tell. Russulas don't have a latex. Russulas also have very brittle flesh that snaps and crumbles very easily.
For the second one, it's hard to tell without the proper info or a least a view of the bottom of it.

This wouldn't happen to be anything would it?
The whole thing is about 3 inches long. They were very small to very big where I found them.
Growing in a grassy area that had been rained on. Can't see the gills, the thing is white with blocks of darker coloring on it.

LOL YESSUP. Your new title is funny as hell too, Will this make me "Trip Balls?".
On those that you recently posted, you might be able to tear the bottom off (veil) and see some of the immature gills. Not sure if you will even be able to get a print at that stage yet. The spores might not have ripened. Anyways, looks to possibly be the green gills as mentioned by CureCat or if the print ccomes out white, Lepiota or one of the satellite genera or sub-genera branching off from Lepiota.

Panaeolus subbalteatus grows in Maryland. Found a bunch of them there myself. Not too long ago either.
Gymnopilus can grow in the woods out there also. Be very careful and make sure you consult an expert before messing with any gyms, as there are things that can look similar and are poisonous to beginners.

Just as a inquiry.
How many trips have you gone on?
Also, is there anyway I can get them to grow in my yard?
Could i just dump down some horse shit, and let the 90% humidity take care?
Could I water the lawn for a week straight and see what happens?
Is there anyway?
