Hello everyone at the shroomery! This is my first post here on the shroomery, and as such, I would like to introduce myself, and tell you a little bit about me.
My name is CeeDro, I'm 21, a part time college student, and a part-time sales rep at an Auto-parts store. I live at home with my dad and my younger sister (they are both, how shall I say, 'Indoctrinated' against my one of my favorite hobbies: chemically induced fun).
I've loved alcohol since first introduced to its intoxicating effects when I was about 17 or 18, at my first job (Taco Bell, of all places). The closing managers would send an employee out to get the booze, and we would drink our aggravations and frustrations away until closing time. Fun times, and great stories (a few good ones I will share with you later).
I was 18, when I first tried Mary J, and like wise, I've been in love since. I do smoke about once or maybe twice a month, for recreation and relaxation purposes (needless to say, my very large stash is almost two years old now, and still as potent as ever. I will probably finish her off this year, with a killer batch of firecrackers. Mmm..)
As to this day, I am a psychedelic virgin. I once had the opportunity to partake of some mushroom tea, but I was not prepared at the time (with knowledge, or otherwise), and in retrospect, it was a bad set and setting. I want to change that however... I have been wanting to try mushrooms for about a year now. For the past year I have read and read and researched until my vision blurred and fingers ached in the wee hours of morning. Now I have read the shroomery forums on-and-off for about a year. I've read a lot of the older stuff dating back to 2001. One of THE MOST informative, friendly, and active communities of enlightened individuals I have found in my quest for knowledge has been the shroomery. I believe I am now ready, mentally, and spiritually, for this. I am ready for the flesh of the gods. Bring it.
And that is my purpose here, to someday, (hopefully, soon) TRIP BALLZ. I have, however, run into some trouble in acquiring the 'goods'. I don't know any 'hunters',and I am very wary of teaching myself to recognize the psychedelic/poisonous varieties (after all, even mycological experts have been killed by eating poisonous look-alikes). I've also exhausted every contact, and every friend of friend's cousin. Bupkis. But that's alright, I'm not willing to deal with a common street peddler, so I continue my quest.
While I continue my search for a path to my innerspace, I want to join the great community that is the shroomery. I feel I have something to add to the community, and hope that I can meet someone here in the tampa-bay area to share some psychedelic fun.
(Also, seeing as I work in the auto-parts business, if you have any car-related questions, please send me a PM, I would be more than happy to give advice or at least send you in the right direction.)
I look forward to being with you! TTYL Shroomery!
CeeDro

Hey, thanks to everyone who welcomed me so warmly! Thanks for the advice Yayitsme, growing is right up my alley, but my living situation prevents it I am almost positive I will be growing when I move out on my own... but for right now, the rent I'm paying at home is juuust fiiiine (keep the yard mowed, and the pool cleaned). My old man and I are really good friends. It's great!

Welcome to the Shroomery! Now, don't go PMing everybody that talks about tripping, asking them for droogs. Just be calm and patient and they will come to you when it is time.

Welcome.
-------------------- The story goes, or the way that I was told There was a king that always felt too high and then he fell too low And so he called all the wise men to the hall And begged them for a gift to end the rises and the falls But here’s the thing, they came back with a ring It was simple and was plainly unbefitting of a king Engraved in black, it had no front or back But there were words around the band that said Just know: This Too Shall Pass

Blissed, you don't have to worry, I'm cool like that. No seriously are you holding? rofl.I'm sure that they aren't that difficult to obtain here in my area, there is over a million people in my county alone. There's bound to be some trippers here, if I can just find them.
