What is the bets way to get catnip seeds to sprout, im used to the towle/bag germination method, but i dont think it will do good since the seeds are so small and the roots might break, so should i throw themm ontop of soil and water it?

Get yourself a cup and put some drainage holes. Fill it with good soil and sprinkle the seeds on it. Then cover it with a piece of saran wrap and a rubber band so it won't loose moisture and you have to water it disturbing the seeds.

What about me? Send me some plants? Having issues getting catnip seeds to sprout. Of the 3 out 100+ seeds that did sprout, the cats found 2 of them and ate them before they grew more than a couple of leaves. The last plant is doing very well but afraid once the cats find it, it will be devoured all too soon. Would like to have a few more plants to allow the to cats to rotate amongst several plants.

Cool necro bump!
Welcome to the shroomery but please take a minute to read forum rules/guidelines before posting, they're usually situated at the top of each forum. We don't allow trading in this forum, we do in the marketplace though. Seeds aren't that hard to come by and if you're desperate you can take cuttings of the one you have and root those. You can even divide the plant if large enough.

Nice welcome.
Established roots will keep putting out more and more branches, bigger and bigger, every year, so long as they get just enough water. Won't matter if you go over it with a lawn mower.
Birds will peck at the seed heads, and more will end up along fence lines and under trees, anywhere damp enough to support a tender mint.
