Moldy buds......

Ok, so last night I bought a half 0 of really good beasters. The stuff is very fluffy for beasters, but a tad dry and not very smelly. So last night I sliced a few peels off of a grapefruit and put them in the bag, then I put the bag in the crisper in the fridge. After about an hour i took out the bag and took the peels out. Their was allot of moisture in the bag, but i put it in my drawer thinking it would be fine. This morning the buds smell and look a tad mildewy.... I set all the buds on a book to try and air them out...
Have i ruined my buds? Is there anything i can do at this point to save them?

I can't say about saving the buds but you could definately make some hash out of moldy buds. Although, if you had the bubble bags to do this, you would have already known you could use moldy buds.

Thank you Magash.... ShroomDr, They don't seem to be typical beasters considering they are fairly fluffy and quite potent, but they still have they look and color of beasters.

What is your definition of beasters?
I googled it and found many different definitions of beasters.
Good luck with your bud!

I guess my definition would be something like commercial indoor bud. Like big rooms filled with hydroponic plants that are overmatured and usually shaken and robbed of their trichcomes. Typical beaster bud is very dense, well trimmed and puts off a very soft kind of orangey smell. Although, the kind I have been getting lately. Which the guy actually calls beasters, seem to be much more chrystaly and fluffy than all the beasters i have come across. Yet they still have that same exact color and smell to them. Either way- he charges $300 and O, and I'm used to getting homegrown at that price!

Well here is a picture of some Sweet Tooth i had and some beasters that i had before that.
Around here Beasters is aka BC bud, aka Britsh Colombia bud. But I really Really REALLY doubt that someone brought this all the way from BC.
Sweet Tooth on left, Beasters on Right

CAn anyone explain to me why beasters is so dense, flavorless, always trimmed up nice (compared to homegrown)
I'm thinking it always goes though a tumbler to remove the outside trichomes, but I could be way off.

Yep, that looks like the beasters i used to get. I'm fairly certain that stuff has been through a tumbler.
I'll try and post some pics of my stuff a little later. I have to go pick more up.......
