hello all i have a question for ya. i made a home madw source od humidity. i took a soda bottle drilled 2 holes in the cap. put two fish tank hoses through (make sure it is a tight fit. fill the soda bottle up half way with water make one hose long enough to reach the bottom of the bottle. put a small air stone on the end. the other hose is not to be in the water but 1 inch or so above it. hook the hose that is in the water up to a fish tank pump with a in line hepa filter . the line not touching the water then goes in to your grow box. the water bubbles and creates humidity and then the humid air gets pushed in to your box. this way i have air exchange and humidity at the same time. the way i control the humidity is by drilling holes in the oppisate end of the box that the hose is. contam does not get in because there is always air comming out. if humidity is to high then drill more holes but only a few worked for me because we want high humidity. you can also tape coffee filters over the driled holes if you want to be safer. how does this sound? has anyone done this? i have had it working for 2 weeks now and dont see nothing wrong and humidity is great!!

it all depends on the fish tank pump you use. mine is supper quiet dont even know it is working and it is 5 feet away.also it probley could be mounted on the grow tub and made all one unit. the only thing is that once every 3 weeks or so the water in the bottle has to get filled to a set line (1 inch below the hose not in the water) also i used silicone around the drill holes in the top to prevent contam. the water i use has been boiled for 10 min then let cool.
