I think it's the most beautiful place I've been to, up till now. I'm blessed to have had the chance to be there, even if it was only a ten hour drive, but there are 7 million Swiss people who live there. I wonder if they get bored with the scenery. Next time I might go there in the winter when everything is covered in snow. Should be a good place to learn how to snowboard, too bad it's so bloody expensive though.

I was thinking while I looked at those pics that it would be cool to see all of those same pics in the winter time, too! We plan on hitting the Rocky Mountains, in the fall. I think it's going to be a great time! You are one lucky SOB to have access to the Alps and Himalayas, like that. I know the Himalayas are kinda far, but think about how far they are from me!

The Himalayas are definately out of any reasonable driving distance I really want to learn and do some snowboarding in the near future. Are you going to ski or board in the Rockies? I've been in the Rockies once when I was about ten, we went by train from Las Vegas to Denver. That was a beautiful trip as far as I remember. We did a tourist route through the US. Holland -> San Fransisco -> Las Vegas -> Denver -> New York -> Niagra Falls Toronto -> New York again -> Home. Too bad we didn't see that much nature, only Niagra and Muir Woods, but I was too young to do a lot of hiking.

Wow! That was an awesome tour, nonetheless! You saw some great cities!! San Fran, Denver, NYC!! Just those alone are alot for any mind to take in in any small amount of time! I spent 6 months in NYC and still needed alot more immersion to fully get the grasp of 'city life', NYC style. As far as the nature shit goes, yeah, you would need ALOT of time to just explore the Denver and Niagra parts, fully. I would love to eventually move to Colorado, or Utah, one of these days. Probably around Boulder, I think. You never know, though.

If your still interested in music suggestions, I love listening to Zox - Take Me Home when I'm high and driving. Maybe try the Mad Conductor if you like hip hop.

On long road trips I really prefer to listen to punk, or metal. Some good jungle or dNb works well too.
i.e Pennywise's album Full Circle, any album by Fugazi although I think I like Steady Diet of Nothing, and Repeater the best. Any Bad Religion album is key, but I lean towards Recipe For Hate, Against the Grain, and Generator the most. All of Operation Ivy is great for driving too. The list goes on...
As far as electronic stuff that won't space me out too much there's Aphrodite. I love his Urban Junglist album! Younger Brother, and sts9 are great, but sometimes they space me out, which isn't too great for driving any lengthy distance. I like alot of Dubhead's mixes from themixingbowl.org. He does alot of great mixes from reggae classics.
That's all that I have for now.
