Welcome to the Shroomery!~

If you are sure that it's cobweb mold you can spray it down with a mix of hydrogen peroxide and water.
10% Peroxide, 90% water

I dont know what to do. That sucks, and will eventually smell pretty bad.
If you know mold in comparison to the strange ways mycelium can grow, you might have actual mold.
When using only cakes I always cut that part out of the cake and cauterized the area. thats just an idea that applies to cakes as far as I know.
wish I had more good info for you. Im just lucky I have never had such problems with the few casings I have made, otherwise Id probably know what to do about it.
Good luck with that.

cobweb mold is about the only contaminant that is actually easy to get rid of.

You can also just spray some 3% peroxide right from the bottle and watch the cobweb disappear.

If it wasn't a pain in my ass, I'd say cobweb is pretty frigging cool.
Man that shit is a cross between a ferrari and a ninja.
Tip: Cobweb doesn't like FAE. When you have regular cobweb, increase FAE.

i sprayed it and it kinda shrunk then disappeared after another spray. i got the edge of a paper towl and soaked up the excess water/peroxide mix. gave it some good fanning. i gave the whole area a light mist b/c i heard it spreads everywhere
ill take my casings out and give some more FAE now and then. is the peroxide going to stall my myc? or hurt/set me back any?
thanks everyone for the advice.

Word on the street is that myc learns to metabolize H202.
Just keep hittin it with that H202 like roadkill says periodically and increase your FAE.

As often enough to get your humidity where you want it.
