Mushrooms at a concert

I've never tried mushrooms before but I am very interested in trying
them in the near future. I have access to indoor grown shrooms but I
don't know what kind they are. I am going to a metal concert (lamb of
god, slayer, children of bodom) and was wondering if it would be ok to
take a low dose of mushrooms while there (probably 1 ~ 2 grams). I
know this isn't the type of music that would seem great to trip to but
this is the music I enjoy so I don't think that it would be a problem.
My question is, do you think I should try them before I go to the
concert to see how my body reacts to them or will I be ok doing them
at the concert for my first time, or should I not do them at the
concert at all? Thanks for the help.

tripping in public can be a little unnerving for some people. Especially a first timer. I definatly suggest you try them out BEFORE the concert. more than once. You might want to have a trip sitter for your first time , and yes start at a low dose.

She took the words right outta my mouth. I love death/black/ metal and grindcore, but cant fucking stand it when I am tripping.

I agree with rhys. You need to know what to expect from them, and how your mind reacts. For some of us, the very idea of going to a concert on mushrooms is terrifying. For others, they think it's the best.
Be safe, both physically and mentally. Once you're there, there's no turning back for the next 5-6 hours.

i agree, tripping in public might not be the best first time experiance. stuff can get too intense, and you might need/want to change your enviroment, but cant.
ive tripped during children of bodom, a life once lost, and nile before. Metal is not gunna fuck up your trip if thats what your into. but all the douche bags at the show might fuck up your trip.
for your first time do it with some friends chilling out at someones house and just listen to music. i suggest agalloch. check out www.agalloch.org.

If your into exploring the biologically stored archetypes, then Blindfold + meditation + soothing traveling music. A raccoon i know suggest David Parsons: Shaman. The music guides one thru a death and rebirth experience. If thats what one is searching for. Raccoon also suggest any album by Entheogenic. Sounds so close to that tryptamine home of ours. Music with words, (excluding icaros, of course) has not been the best method of obtaining enlightenment says my friends raccoon. But to each is his/her own. Peace and love,Kija.

I would definitely not reccomend being in public during your first trip.
And I feel the same way about the music. I like metal when I'm sober, but tripping it just weirds me out. I usually end up listening to ambient, drone-y type music.
