i inoculated my grain mycobag with some mexi-cub on tuesday.i mashed the substrate around to distribute the spores evenly. i put about 2.5cc's in. i put it in my incubator and havn't looked since. when should i expect to be able to see some growth?

Give it 3 - 4 days, if you look before then it'll only make you worry. Or at least make the anticipation really bad. You've done a great job so far not even looking :smile:

it's not a bad thing, it's a good indicator that you have a sufficient moisture content

I just had my bags around 30-40% full of hard white fuzz, and i broke them up about 48 hours ago. Theyve showed no signs of progess, which I can only assume from shock. Im assuming this is normal, so dont freak out and think you killed them.

yeah, break up at 30%, it'll take a day or two to recover, then it'll spread super fast... at least that's what i've heard, never used bags before

it has been seven days since i inoculated and there is no sign of growth. there is still condensation, but no growth. is somthing wrong? i might have messed up on the inoculation. i did everything right except after i flamed the needle i wiped it in alchohol and wiped it dry with a piece of toilet paper(off roll right out of the package). could this be a problem?

Mine took two and a half weeks before i saw anything, i thought i had a dodgy syringe and almost gave up on it.
