    #5802444 - 06/29/06 08:43 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

lets say im fruiting my mushrooms but dont want a bunch of half pint jar looking final product,i mean like i want to grow them in a flat surface after incubation period...how do i do this just place the mycelium in a plastic alt container than just rake it flat with a fork>????? and do i get better yiels lets say using 2cc's per half pint and 2 jars.....will i get the same amount cause on a flat surface the containers always usually seem more full and closer mushrooms that make the whole thing look like theres more mushies?!

The amount if spores have no effect on yield. They are just a seed if you will. But it takes at least 2 of em. The more substrate you got, and the more nutrients in that substrate is what makes the difference. Also take some time to learn about casing
