E's reaction with depression?

I know that for most hallucinagenic drugs, it is best to take them when you have been feeling happy for a week or so. Depression can throw your trip into a sprial. Does this go for E as well? I've been very depressed lately and I have a chance to take E this weekend (for the first time), and I was wondering if its a bad idea. Will it cause a horrible trip or a horrible come-down? post your thoughts/experiences.

It's hard to say, but most likely you'll have a spectacular time on it and forget about your current situations or you could even vent about your problems to someone with you, however coming down may not be so fun, especially being in a depressed state. Depression and E are hard on the mind and body, it's good to take in account that the healthier you are, the chances for a better outcome will increase. On another note being depressed could leave you with a greater attatchment to wanting to be on E and you may use it more and more frequently. Again, coming down while you are depressed is gonna be hard, and due to many pills having adulterants, having an uplifting afterglow will be rare. Be safe

I've found that the few times that I've used E while I've been feeling down.
a: The high isnt as good, E tends to amplifly what your feeling. If your feeling super-good already, you'll feel amazing. But, if your feeling down/depressed, you may get the odd burst of 'wee, happy', but its generally less intense.
b: The comedown is horrible, and you usually feel far worse than you did before and it lingers for a long time.
Now, there is the rare time where on the comedown you end up opening up/venting about your problems/getting it off your chest and dealing with them, but more often then not, I find I just lay there in bed dwelling on them.

i think it is more the come down you have to worry about. if your feeling down, even if you have a good roll, the come down might hit you hard. i personally never have a bad come down but i knwo people that it just gets to them and they feel like shit. if you dont how you will find the come down i wouldnt do it.

When I was depressed and took E it completely took my depression away. No matter what, the comedown is gonna suck, it always does for me no matter how im feeling. You definintly wont have a bad trip, unless its thier MDA pills which I doubt they are. Youll be feeling like you have no problems at allw when your rolling. eat them bitches.

I completely disagree.
I think E can be the best medicine for depression.

E depletes Serotonin, and at a high rate, leaving you with very low levels for days after. While it may feel great while you are high, the next several days for someone who is already suffering depression due to reduced Serotonin levels could bring on suicidal thoughts. If you are actually suffering from depression, and not just a case of the blues, E is one drug you should definitely stay away from.

ah thanks alot guys. yea it was more a case of the blues than true depression, but i think i will be fine. I've been taking serotonin replenishing pills for a couple days and am starting to feel better already! What else can help with the come-down? I've got the replenishers and some propel. maybe I'll get vitamins if they're worth it... anything else? some weed i suppose could never hurt
