I dont think that there is much you can do now, except for placing tape along the side.
I would use a black plastic bag and use that as a liner next time.

There are a few ways you can handle it.
Me, I laid down three layers of plastic-loving spraypaint.

Not the best picture but if you look at the bottom you can see the line. I did this by running tape along the 4" mark all around the tub, spraying, allowing to dry and then removed the tape. Did a great job.
You could also use very dense tape or, if you're feeling particularly industrial, line the bottom with aluminum foil and then duct tape over that. Zero light gets through aluminum foil. Not a photon.

But A-foil reflects light. So if you substrate or casing isn't right up against the foil, it will reflect light from above onto the sides.

get about 8 BBQ spikes poked through the container so you could raise the whole thing about 4 inches. you'd be growing out the top AND bottom.

Like they said, nothing you can really do now. But when you harvest the bottoms ones I would recomend placing it in something larger with humidity and fruiting it as one giant cake. I had to do this once and the 2nd flush was bigger!

By god, I didn't think of that. Good call.

I might even try that.
