DMT during the process of death

My cousin just died a very violent death, the coroners report was just too much to fucking take. What I am interested in learning is how DMT affects the brain during death. I looked it up in Wikipedia, and it mainly talks about the effects when it is taken as a drug. The external links do the same including erowid. Dont be nice about this because you think I want to hear the euphemistic version, I want to know the truth. Any information/links would be appreciated. thank you

Did your cousin die doing DMT?

Have they shown DMT actually does anything? I thought that was just a theory from DMT: The Spirit Molecule?

Yeah, the body is like 4 micrograms lighter after death.
Seriously though, I beleive it is just a theory. It's kind of a hard think to research I'd think, 'cause how would you ever know what it REALLY caused if it really was released upon death?

Here is some emails Rick Strassman has sent me after I wrote him regarding his book. Not much help in regards to the thread, but kind of interesting....
Quote:
It seems to me that certain drugs can place you on a different "vibration".
True.
switching from FM to AM. I have been trying to find studies that have attempted to measure the vibrations given off by people in these altered states or sobriety, or maybe even measuring different organs.
Kirlian photograph comes to mind. EEG studies have been done with psychedelics, looking at electrical frequencies generated by various brain regions.
I don't know of so-called scientific literature that's looked at vibrations of other organs than the brain.

Dear Kyle:
Thanks for reading the book, and taking the time to write. I'm glad you enjoyed the book.
I had not been previously aware of the overlap between the DMT work and Scientology reports. If indeed endogenous DMT release is the common denominator for many of these experiences, that's not entirely surprising.
I am looking at Jewish views on things, mostly the old texts and commentaries, for their take on what might be resulting from endogenous DMT release, as experienced through that particular filter/world view.
Best,
Rick Strassman

she was run over by an 18 wheeler, all her organs were outside her body, her face was smashed like a pancake and she was drug for 20 feet. I guess I was just trying to find some solace in the fact that maybe she didnt feel much of it because of natural chemicals in the brain that were released during death, I guess at least there was adrenaline

When you go through that much trauma I doubt you're going to feel much of anything.

I hope your right, I once got into an accident involving an 18 wheeler, I remember thinking, ok Im gonna die, I felt very calm and thought ok bring it on. Before that I had a lot of issues involving the thought of my own death, (lose of my ego) since then I feel like im ready to go when I go. But I didnt experience any pain or injuries.

I'm sorry to hear this.
But if your cousin was even conscious after the incident I really don't think she would have felt much pain. If I remember correctly the human body can only go through so much pain before it goes into shock. After you've gone into shock a lot of the time you really don't have any idea of whats going on or feel much pain. Don't quote me on that though its been awhile since I took any type of health class.

Yeah Im shore it would continue to fire if it were structurally intact but smashed like a pancake doesn't sound like that. Sorry for your loss my friend she is in better hands now I can tell that for shore.
