I went hunting for Psilocybe caerulipes today and found none, I really think God just doesn't want me to find them...anyhow, I found these cool lookin' mushrooms instead.

I found something else, but I ran out of room. I'll post it tomorrow.

Excellent pictures. Thanks for showing us. I think that second picture is a group of sulfur tufts, Hypholoma fascicularae. Should have purple spores, though sometimes they are sterile and won't leave a print. That pic of those cup fungi is quite neat too.

It would be cool to see or hear more about the gills of the mushrooms in your pictures. It doesn't really look like you are necessarily looking for IDs though.
As far as looking for caerulipes goes, I have spent like 7 years looking for them, before I finally was able to hold one in my hand. I'm talking epic endless journeys into the woods, miles in the middle of nowhere. Frequently too. So you're not alone when it comes to that. The area that i live in is just not the right type of area for them. I had to travel to find them.
Anyways, I agree that the yellow ones are likely the sulfur tuft.

Here are the pics I promised...after I was done in the woods, I went to check my Subb spot.....I couldn't even pick 1/8th of what was there, they were everywhere.

And the haul...
