Let it get a little bigger and harden it off for a few days before throwing it outside. Remember: sandy soil and sun!

That is definately catnip. Beware though, it will take over your yard. The soil is really irrelevant, from my experience, catnip will grow anywhere. It will grow a lot too.

If the soil was irrelevant, I wouldn't of said, "Use sandy soil" You want a fast draining soil otherwise too many seedlings will rot off. Caleb, you said you wasted a whole pack of seeds already, right? Of course sand drains fast, thats what you want. Mix sand in your soil when you plant the seeds I sent you.

NO! Loose/fast draining/sandy soil. I'm not sure why you are thinking I'm saying, "use sand"??? After 6 PMs, I still don't think you're getting it. It's not that complicated.

Just dig a patch out where you want to put it, then mix the sand in with the mud you have just taken out.

You can do it as your putting the mud back into the hole but you need to put enough sand in so's it affects the drainage.

That all depends on what your soil is like in the first place though.

I would want to dig at least a foot down, im not sure how deep catnip roots go but that should about cover it.
