I hope my Hpoo "Lazy Man Bags" go just as well as your FC's seem to be doing. Good stuff, good pictures too!

Very nice. Must be a long time reader or from another forum?
3 days is pretty decent. Usually 24 or so hours for the myc to recover, second day starts growing, and third/fourth is when it starts to really become visible.
Congrats on the grow.

this is the first mushroom forum ive ever been on. a friend on www.grasscity.com linked me b/c i wanted to get started. this is actually my first time growing. i used the PF TEK. i made 24 jars myself and I bought 12 pre sterilized just incase mine failed. i was going to dunk and roll the cakes then toss them into a PMP. instead i got some hpoo and spawned it into a couple containers. the container in the pic has about 4 inches of poo. i used about 2.5 lbs and spawned with 2.5 pints.
my containers are in a TIT incubating at 81-82degrees. all my containers seem to be doing fine except my monotub. it seems to be going pretty slow. i dont see a whole lot of progress. maybe b/c i used little spawn. i used about 6 pints to 10lbs. put a layer of plastic with punched nail holes directly over the hpoo/spawn at the bottom then put the lid of the container back on and shoved it in my closet. i layered the spawn and mixed it in really well. if i did something wrong i hope someone could point me in the right direction.

6 pints to 10 lbs is a little much yea. It will just take longer to colonize. Leave it alone and dont play with it.
Have fun and good luck.

yeah i try not to peak alot but me being a newbie at this hobby i cant help it. im sure most were the same their first time. ill leave it be for a couple days. i dont wana screw up my work.
but as far as my previous post about my monotub, i did everything correctly right?
also i need to build a bigger FC. i had already made a very decent PMP with good FAE but its way to small. i was expecting to be doing cakes but now i have these hpoo containers. will a large version of a PMP work for me? i know i need about 90% humidity and a 10 degree drop in temp which is no problem at all. basicaly what i am asking is if i have that 90% humid and 10 degree drop will a large PMP be viable FC for these hpoo containers?

Larger PMP may work, sure. However, you may want to look into building a Martha if you plan on scaling your grows. Check my gallery for pictures and the archives(Under boxes) for Magash's post on setting up hoses on a Martha.
Monotub should be fine, just leave it alone, keep it dark, 82-84 degrees and let it colonize. Try not to open it cause it already has a higher risk of contam since the spawn ratio is rather high.
