No growth in pre sterilized jars

I bout some pre sterilized jars (27)from a vender and inoculated them with four different strains(b+, taz, pr, gt).

it has been about 6 or 7 days at 82 degrees and all but two of the jars have even started colonizing.(pr)

I also inoculated 2 pre sterilized bags and those were kept at the same temp also.(bt, eq). No growth in those eigther

I have no clue what could be going on but something definitely isn?t right....

Some of the syringes were rather old(3 or 4 months) and I put a heating pad under a Rubbermaid container (kind of big) and inside laid a lot of towels down because I heard that the heating pad put directly under the jars would dry them out.

Any help is much appreciated.....thanks

the exact same thing happend to me with homemade peurto rican mycelim syringe, the jars didnt even get contams after 3weeks...nothing, I had the holes taped up and airtight, the mycelim needs air in the jars, now I know...mycelim wont move onto grain without moisture and air.

What was in the jars, the media? How are you sealing them. I think I know something that will help all of you with vastly increased growth rate and less containation. Was it sealed like JLF does or the PF method or something different?
