Ive grown PESA which is cool, VERY rhizomorphic mycelium. ALso working with cambodian which colonizes the jars fucking fast compares to the other (like fucking a week for a pint jar of rye to be fully colonized, every time!!).
I've heard mixed things about koh samui super strain cause some ppl get nice results from it and others just get only gnarly, disgruntled fruits.

I will be Working with three strains right now.A double tub of treasure coast, some in vitro Texas bags and a plain old noob friendly pf tek of mexi cube.Just waiting for colonization,if it helps at all so far the mexicube is smoking everything in the speed department.I don't know if it is just cause my mexi LC was so much thicker or if its the strain but I saw growth in just days.It was so fast that I was worried it was a contaim but so far so good its still all white and healthy looking so I'm looking forward to seeing what transpires.Good luck man sorry that people wont help much with the strain question, its just one of those things you are gonna have to experiment and see what you like best,Seems to me that even every spore vendor has the same descriptions on their web page. That or they will tell you a bunch of facts that you don't really care about IE:(Blueish bruising upon being cut and shit like telling you how big the spores are and all kinds of stuff like that)I guess they just cant say "Man these will fuck you up" I mean after all everyone here just orders spores to look at under a microscopeRight? .I am just a born scientist and love to try weird stuff so I look forward to alot of strain dabbling,I refuse to accept the cube is a cube thing even though I have heard it a million times. If that was the case than why do so man people like one strain over another?

You are right. There are plenty of differences between the strains. I don't know why people spout the "cube is a cube" rubbish. Maybe they've just grown tired of discussing strains.
How do they explain albinos, redboys, or the massive Orissa India strains if "a cube is a cube"? Obviously cubes are not all the same.

It's like your children. They contain the same DNA but they are different. Some parents even have a favorite one of the bunch! *wink*
My favorite strain is my daughter..er.. oops! I mean
Orissa India. A little slower to get started than say SA, AM, or CAM, but then they explode. At least that's how it's been for me.

Meaning: The DNA is from the same source. Unless the milkman was visiting alot some years ago in my case.
Maybe I should start wording myself a little more carefully for you. You seem to want to argue the syntax rather than the semantics of what I'm trying to say.
Perhaps if you take a little more time trying to understand what someone means, and less time trying to argue, we can all make some progress together.

Arrrg... Complicated topics reduced to soundbites always create misconceptions. You're probably confused by the soundbite factoid that chimps and humans share >98 percent of their DNA. That's based on computer sequence alignments and discounts insertions, deletions, inversions, and translocations. It depends on the level of analysis you're doing. If you look at base pairs then yes everyone has pretty much the same DNA, but if you look at the gene level then people don't really share that much with each other and almost none with chimps.
When talking about heredity and similarities you're talking about the gene level. Anyway suffice it to say that I am knowledgeable on this subject. Trust me, I'll shoot you straight.
You share 50% of your DNA with each of your parents, and also 50% with your siblings. Identical twins share 100%. You share 25% with your uncles, aunts, grandparents, and nephews. You also share 12.5 (1/8) with (first)cousins.
> Maybe I should start wording myself a little more carefully for you.
It's always good to say what you mean and mean what you say.
> Perhaps if you take a little more time trying to understand what someone means, and less time trying to argue, we can all make some progress together.
I'm not just trying to argue. I was correcting a basic misstatement of fact. I wouldn't call that arguing semantics. If I thought it was just a semantic argument I wouldn't have made it. I'm not trying to put you down, just correct you.

Again FF, you miss my point entirely.
I was speaking of a parent to child relationship. In our case the parent is P. Cubensis. The child is the 'substrain' or 'strain' as we call it. I speak of variations that have occured through environmental and genetic decent. Very similar to our own children compared to ourselves.
In the future, I will put more effort into wording things a little more clearly for you.
I will say it again. If you spend more time trying to understand what people are saying, and less time trying to come up with a counter point, it makes learning together far less tedious.

Hahaha, same with around my area. Only Indians have spinners because they're all spoiled folks that recieve waaaaay too much money from their band.
I live in the cattle capital of Canada with 4 reservations closely surrounding my town and a Native town 15 minutes away from here, so yeah I see Indians with their spinners ALL the time

Up here in Central Alberta, it seems like the Natives get paid for almost everything they do, and they always abuse it. Once a native turns 18 here, they recieve around $100,000-$200,000 from their band, and they always blow their money so incredibly fast and uselessly, that it angers me. And about 80% of these Indians live in poverty but yet they recieve so much money. That just goes to show their money and drug abuse they seem proud of. Natives here have a real bad reputation

smoking weed isn't legal on indian reservations... they're still bound by most federal drug laws... peyote can be used for religious purposes, but if there was a big grow or like a hash bar, you can bet the dea would jump on that shit.
i know, half my aunts and uncles are natives living on the tulalip indian reservation in washington, and they've all been in trouble for growing and smoking weed.
also, not all natives get a cut of the casino profits. in fact, very few of them do. most of it goes to non-native investors, and the rest goes to the people who actually helped build it... even the people who work there get paid for exactally what they do. dealers make an assload on tips, but for the most part, the natives are kept poor, because that's how they're supposed to be!

this is the most unexpected thread-jacking I've witnessed in quite awhile...
PS-- my second known and first (yet) grown strain is KSSS-- as mentioned-- very slow, small, and sparse--
Trying penis envy and Kamoi 'classic' next...
