Ok everyone so i should have my Growbag and spore syringe ina few days and i just want to make sure i do everything right so i don't mess it up! i'm not looking for big harvest just small harvest for personal use. Anyways I plan on innoculating the bag like so and i was thinking possibly placing it in a clean dark blue rubbermaid container. I was thinking this may help it stay a tad warmer and a tad more humid? Anyways my substained house temp that i will be growing with is around 72, which i am told from many is fine for bstrain i hear it will take a tad longer but im a patient person so i'm not worried. Anyways Any advice so i don't screw this up? I just really wanna be succesful, i tried once 2 years ago and failed don't want this happening again. Thanks

first bit of advice is to read up on the pf tek. and you dont need humidity when incubating. and bump you temp up 10 degrees while incubating, sure it will eventually colonize but the longer it takes the higher chance of contams.

I would recomend doing a tub in tub setup for an incubator. It shouldn't be much more than about $25. A very cheap submersible fish tank heater will work. I'd suggest getting one with a remote temp adjustment though, so you don't have to take your TIT apart for temp adjustment like I do. Anyways you can look in the FAQ for how to make this. You want to do it so that colonization will be quicker and also so that when you put in the fruiting chamber you can have a substantial temp drop to help with mushroom formation. My other piece of advice is to pay attention to the timing at which you do things. Specifically, don't fruit your substrate too soon or too late. From my recent grow I have determined that mycelium has a momentum factor that can't be overlooked. I have asked a million questions, so try looking through my original posts and you might find some useful stuff. Otherwise, just use search and FAQ and Wiki. Peace, gl

I no longer use a incubator, in my case I cant control the heat, now that it's summer. Room temp is fine, I dont know how much longer it's takes, and dont really care. And you dont not have to worry about RH.
I assume that your bag is premade. The only suggestion I can give at this point is, make sure you wipe down the bag with alcohol, where you are going inject. I use a piece of tape the heavy packing kind. And I also use alcohol on the stick side of the tape.
Then massage the bag to mix it up, thoroughly.
Then dont even touch the bag, or move it do not disturb it at all. Until it's 40-50% colonized. Then mix up the bag and let it sit until its 100% colonized.
