I read about this when it happened and it really blows my mind. I tend to be more of a open minded person when it comes to aliens/ghosts/god/the unexplained. I am kind of suprised we haven't heard more about it. They must have performed all sorts of tests on the organisms by now to be able to tell us more about them.

I'm tempted to dial up my old college VPN so I can search journal articles on this. Very cool.

I didn't read the article but red rain is a natural thing. I've read some info on it awhile ago so I don't have any links but it's not the first time it's happened. I believe there are a few things that can cause it.
*edit* ok I read skimmed the artical and see it's not the rain that's the issue, sorry.

I heard about this on the AM radio show Coast-to-Coast AM about 3-4 months ago. A lot of theories, no explanations.

red rains are a rare occurance, it just may not have been until recently that we've had the ability to study them or the desire too, back in the 1840 it happened in tennessee

life actually existing is more interesting than alien life. alien or not, we are all in the same vacuum.
