Sure.

The blue stuff is RTV (room-temp vulcanizing sealant), used for gaskets. The tubing is windshield wiper line.
Drill a hole a wee bit smaller than the tubing then drill a second hole fairly small. 1/8" or whatever.
Insert the tubing and use the RTV to seal the tubing to the lid. Gob up some RTV on the small hole. If you really want to get fancy, put masking tape on one side of the hole, RTV the hole on the other side. Let the RTV dry, then remove the tape.
Once the RTV is dried (24 hours should do it), insert some polyfill into the tube and tamp down lightly with an ink cartridge, a mini screwdriver, whatever. Just don't put too much polyfill into the tube lest you clog it and destroy the purpose. That purpose, of course, is to allow air flow into the jar without introducting contams. If you're doing LCs, this airport has the added benefit of avoiding a vacuum when aspirating the solution.
The small hole is for innocluation.

thanks guys some good ideas. already made the liquid culture with snaggletooth's idea (thanks a million!) Just didn't see anyone using both the tape and sealant to make WBS. makes it easier to fill the Jar's damn near 100 percent full with this method. whereas with the polyfil u should keep the level lower because it can wick in contaminants (From what i've read). Everyone should be using this!

Sorry about my post. I was half-asleep when I wrote it. I completely missed the part about tape. I thought it was asking about RTV and polyfill. =)
