When the Pins Come Marching In

Finally. They showed up. And holy shit, did they ever. Lookit this mess.
The first three are different zooms of the center of the monotub.

This is a pic of another section of the tub.

I should give thanks to hyphae, whose pinning strategy I followed ...and not even very well. To put it another way, this is the results you get when you fuck it up. Can't wait until I figure out how to do it correctly!
Thanks hyphae!!
I'm so happy I could just about spit.

nice pinset, you're going to have a heavy harvest.
Hyphae's tek is top notch, there really isnt much to fuck up in it.

good job
take mental note where that huge cluster of pins are, and try your hand at cloning one of the fruits later on... that's a nice producing substrain right there and a prime candidate to isolate and keep around

I should have been more specific. I patched and then put the mono back into incubation for 24 hours instead of moving right to fruiting. But obviously even a major deviation from the tek still gives good results!

Very nice looking there. I think I might try this for my next batch if I'm not happy with the yield I get form these "Lazy Man's Bags" by Hydr0420.

I am sure the harvest will be good but I have found that when pins form that close together the yield goes down a bit. Then if they have just a little space in between them.

Actually, I'm worried about the exact same thing. But I think I'm too psyched about the fact that I got pins at all to be too concerned.

There is some weird thing in 2 of ur pics that is tripping me out.
Anyway there is nothing to wory about. What may happen is they all fully mature and stay reletivly short and thin, or some will abort and the rest will get tall and plump.
Hitting some luck your way for high yeild =D

Actually the tek states to incubate after casing usually 3-4 days with a peat based casing mix but really depends on casing thickness, temp and the myc's vigor, aggressive myc does well with little (24hrs) to no incubation. BTW That pinset kicks ass! Your not going to get much better than that bro! WTFG!!!! Your timing was also excellent now the fun begins, your job now will be to raise your little friends to maturity and harvest as to not disturb too much of your future flushes which is very difficult with extremely prolific pinsets such as yours.

Well now you have to tell me what those things are!
I'm guessing one of them is the yellow-looking thing to the left of the major crop of pins? If so that's just a bead of water/myc piss that's catching the light above at a strange angle.
So what's the other one?
"Anyway there is nothing to wory about. What may happen is they all fully mature and stay reletivly short and thin, or some will abort and the rest will get tall and plump."
That's what I'm expecting. I'm HOPING that they all get big and fat. Wouldn't that be nice?

You won't want all those to bolt at once that would spell disaster with many aborts. What you want is a fair share bolting for your first flush followed by a second flush just as prolific or slightly better again followed by a desent third and forth flush. All your flushes pins are right there in front of you, manage them wisely!
