Dry looking casing.....

Hpoo spawned to WBS, with a 60/40 casing layer.
Its been in the FC at RH 90%, outside at 70. Its been in the FC for a good couple days, pin set has already started on most of them.
However , they look dry in there containers, it defiently looks like a need a moisture boost.
Any suggestions for a friend?

super light misting around pins? After first flush moisten the casing well. or dunk it.

Could take a syringe and just use that to add moisture.
It is using up the moisture cause its now pinning.

if you already have pins i would probably just let it be, a moist casing is mainly for pins to develop. then dunk it after you harvest the first flush.

A moist casing is for much more than pinsets it is a major water source for developing fruitbodies. Go ahead and very lightly mist as often as you can, you just want a "dew" on the surface and that will be absorbed rather quickly then another misting can be done. Watch those developing pins carefully so you don't damage them. GL

thanks a lot. i appreciate the quick response, yea these casings have already gone through 1 flush. this is there 2nd , and looking good.
i will mist closely, but not close enough to be on the shrooms themselves!
