hello all question for ya. this is my first time with a grow tub all my other cakes were fruited in a single container. now i have 4 cakes on top of verm in a rubber maid tub . while i am at work they are next to a blue plant grow light and my wife is misting them 2 a day. the mycelium is spreading all over the bottom of the tub but it has been 2 weeks and not one fruit. i took a good look at them today and the bottom of the tub is very wet and soggy. is this good? i do 2 manual air exchanges every day also. any tips for me what is going wrong?

Vermiculute isn't what you want lining the bottom of your tub. Replace that with perlite. Try not to mist the cakes directly. instead, mist the sides of your container.

Well BigBrass has part of it right =).
You need to have perlite/geolite/hydroton/lava rocks on the bottom of your container, not vermiculite. (I would try to get geo-lite/hydroton over perlite. Perlite is so damn messy).
Misting the casings directly is fine, atleast untill they start pinning.
Now, how are the conditions? Misting twice a day, okay thats fine I suppose, is the humidity at 95%+? What about tempatures? Need them to be mid to low 70's. Also you need air exchange more then twice a day.
I would highly suggest looking at building a Poormans Pod. Check the archives under boxes for Magash's post.

i agree with misting the side walls of the fc, opposed to misting the cake directly.
Misting casings is another thing, can and should be misted...
