Well i guess nobody here gives a hoot, but the weather down here sucks shit. It's been dry and hot for weeks, this is prime hunting season and it's all going to waste. Season is nearly over now and not a flippin thing. The real pisser is that it's threatened to rain multiple times, completley overcast - even thunder - but not a drop of the precious stuff that makes the fungi pop up. I'm getting very f*ckin frustrated. I'll probably have a bad trip because I'll be so pissed off by the time I get some.

Anyone want to donate a spore print? What goes around comes around.

What does that have to do with getting the shits??? Eating lots of pizza and and chasing it with a six pack gives me the shits the next morning.

We had enough rain in Feb and I got heaps so I dried and stored some shrooms.
Be cool and hang in there the rains will come and then you can go Hunting.

I'm with you wombat, it's fucking Autumn and the last two days have been 36?C down here. What the hell? Our summer was sooo mild, I think we're getting a payback now. We better get some cold weather and rain soon. Oh well, you could always just grow until they come out, not as much fun as hunting though. I went out hunting on the weekend, just for fun. Any mushrooms are good to find. Due to the season, the only thing we found were a few tiny puffballs and some lactaris deliciosus.

Hmmm. Well the clouds are forming as I type. Any rain at all and I'm gonna give it a shot in the morning. If we're really lucky we'll get a thunderstorm, but I doubt it. I'm actually fearful it may not rain at all.

It only rained tonight for 24 seconds, that means there will only be 6 mushrooms growing over a the next few days and due to my already busy schedule I have no chance of finding any fresh shrooms so I guess I'll just have to get some of the dried stuff happening.

Well, I woke this morning to be greated with a steely grey sky - but that mean shit all. It was grey last night and there was even regular flashes of lightning but not a bloody drop of rain. There's no rain predicted for today (on the TV or on the http://www.bom.gov.au website) but the sky's telling a different story. Unless it all blows over then I'll be able to go hunting tommorrow.  (How many times have I thought that this month! :frown: )

Chill out and goods things will happen. Autumn is just a bit late this year. I'm sure all will be just fine and we'll get some action soon.

These were found in Feb. and I'm sure they'll be back.

Exactly how much rain is needed? We've had a fairly moderate dose this afternoon with a little more predicted tonight, I'll be trying my luck tomorrow in any case. Wish me luck. :smile:

It's raining here and should mean some hunting on the
Weekend. Just how much is required is a bit of a guess, but I reckon you need about 5-10mm and a bit of luck.
