Hi.I posted a thread sometime ago because I got problem with wbs.Now I have a really big problem of contamination.I start 8 jars and only 1 turn up.When I do g2g ,most of my jars contams.I use a glove box with a cheap hepa filter and I spray the inside of the glove box with alcohol before each inoculation.I clean my tool with 70% alcohol.I'm not that newbie, I read alot on the subject and I have the mushroom cultivator book and GGM.My previous grow were pretty good, I just have a problem with spawn.I tried the peroxyded agar tek, my plate turned fine but when I inoculated some jars with the agar and 12cc peroxyde, they contaminated. My pressure cooker is probably fine , its the Mirro 22qt.Anyone know what might be the problem or have tips? At each time the contamination appear to be baccilus.
Thanks

your glove box is probably the problem.

the flowhood, if set up properly, should provide you the workspace needed to be as sterile as possible. Try looking at your design instead of spending more money, i see that you haven't attached any gloves to your box. I also see jagged edges and a bunch of cracks in the front. Remember that contams are microscopic so any opening given will allow them the chance to contaminate your work.
