fresh spores!

I made a print from a large EQ then immediately innoculated a quart jar of rye with the whole print. 2 days later every single grain has mycelium growing on it. 2 days! I don't usually even get germination for at least 3 or 4 days.
So, fresh spores are good.

Pretty good man!
My record so far from print to harvest is 2weeks and 4 days...I think..he he.

dude why did you use a whole print in one jar? you could have inoculated 20 quart jars with a print.

2 1/2 weeks? thats pretty fast, too fast? what method of cultivation did you use?

because it was a squinty print. The cap had tipped over and the spores had drifted all over the place, off the edge of the paper etc. Seeing as how I had others I thought I'd do a little experiment.
And it worked nicely.
