Well you should see something soon, but if the mixture is off that could be the reason,
Times of the stirrer is very subjective, I've done 24/7, and on for a few hours and off,
I dont have a system.

Personally, I'd drop that back to 6 minutes every day. You can get more aggressive with the stirrer once the myc is established. In fact you might want to consider laying off the magstir until myc forms. I know it's a fun-as-hell toy but its prime goal is to expose as much of the myc to the nutritive liquid.
When the developing myc is less than the eye can see, stirring won't do anything.
Snaggletooth is right though, your mix might be off. What was your karo:water mix?

I wouldnt use the stirrer at all during germination.
As far as when myc actually starts forming. Once a day is more then enough IMO.

I don't have a magnetic stirrer yet so I cat help ya there but as far as treasure coast LC goes.I just knocked up some treasure coast last week and both jars of it are looking great,so I don't think it should be that long.Every one says "cube is a cube" but I disagree.Like when I knocked up some Ecuador and some mexi-cub LC on the same day and the mexi-cube got so thick I couldn't even get it in a syringe while the Ecuador took forever.I Know it wasn't a bunk syringe cause it did grow eventually.it just was slow as hell.Hope this helps .
