small black pricks, HELP!

I've got some mycelium growing, turned the jar upside down to see if it would speed things up a bit, and the next day half the jar was full of some small black... thingys! I guess this is a contam.. though I have no clue what kind?

It sounds like black pin mold. The black tips are the spore producing structures of the mold. Dispose of jars in a safe manner, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
