casing, HELP please

I've got a Casing going, using dirt+verm, The mycelium has made it to the top of the layer, but there's no shrooms showing. It's been about 1? week since I cased it, and the myceluim has been showing for three days. I have a light shine on it for a few hours a day, which tends to heat it up so I then put it outside for about an hour and it's down to bellow room temp, then I put it back inside. I also spray it twice a day. So why no sign of actuall shroom growth?

Well I can tell you whats not helping you....your temp. should not fluctuate(spelling) like that. It sounds like your going from one extreme to the other. Try to get a handle that!
Stop spraying the mycl. The keys to pinning are.....fresh air, cooler temps. , alittle bit of light....and pataince(spelling).

Ok, Youve gotten as far as having the mycelium show up on top right? Now what you have to do is keep the tempuatures down to about 70degrees...can go as low as 67 or as high as 73 occasionaly...but on avg keep it at 70 (room temp) you will fan it and give it air exchange twice a day and spray it if the casing is apearing to be dry.....after 6-7 days you will see pinning....let me know once you get to pinning and I can tell u about the next stage. In the meantime, look at the FAQ located at the top of this page..it will help. Good luck :smile:
