Hows this setup sound?

my friend plans on using a 24"X16" rubbermaid container thats about 20" high as a fruiting chamber. he has a sonic humidifer with a regular 5/8" garden hose running out of it to a hole on one side of the container (directly, no bottles to lower humidity power like in the MMGG, is this gona be a problem?). He also put a hole on the opposite side as an exsaust and was gona use a computer fan to help ventilate. but he couldn't figure how to addapt its power input to a wall outlet so he was gona take a power supply unit from an old computer and just run it through that. He knows that you shouldn't run the fan all the time and he has an hour to hour timer anyway for the humidifer once i figure out whats the best rotation for 95% humidity. He'll worry about heat after iv fixed this. does all this sound reasonable? Also he read alot of people use filters on their fans, is this entirely necessary? peace

A filter on the fan is a good idea. Better to put it on now...you can always take it off right? The set-up sounds fine. Just use some H2O2 in the mix. GoodLuck!

yeah what im worried about is the computer fan. If im running it from a power supply box from a computer, it wont like over heat and explode will it? what are some other options for fans? i looked in radio shack and wal-mart, i didn't see anything that would be useful.

Well i'm not sure really. I've never used a fan. I have my 2 tubes run into my terr. that supply the fresh air and humidity. At the bottom of my terr. I've place some holes that are filled with cotton(act's like a filter). Anyway with my pump on, it creates positive pressure. GoodLuck!
