Pin's but no mature mushrooms ~~~~~~#ZZHELPZZZ>

On my cakes I have a bunch of pins sprouting all over but they are not matureing. They have been birthed for a wile. My other batch had mushrooms with in days. Is there some thimg that I might be doing wrong.

Well, they might be aborts. This is caused by several things.

Excessive CO2 levels, the rH is too high, Insufficient fresh air exchanges, excessive loss of moisture from the cake, or even just misting too much.

Whats the specs of your methods. How much do you fan, whats the humidity, etc..

I suppose that we would really need to know what you are doing to know if you are doing something wrong. Shrooms are weird sometimes. Raise your humidity a little if you can. Keep the temp constant. If these things fail sprinkle a little virmiculate on top of your cake and moisten it up. In a few days this will cause mushrooms to pin there also. Lastly, cold shock the little bastards again.

well your temps could just be too high. have to pretend they came outta the warm ground and into the air, where its colder...oh man its cold i better fruit!
