why do trays in a greenhouse fruit faster than a monotub?

Is it really because of FAE?

I mean how much do you really need. In a greenhouse, as long as the fresh air is humid, you could pump in a lot of fresh air without drying out the casing/substrate. Pinning to a mature mushroom took me about a week and a half.

In my monotub grow, I have the holes in the right place, a ceiling fan on low, still have water condensing inside the container along with SLIGHT condensation on the substrate surface (no casing). Been about a week and see only white dots still. Which I suppose tells me there was enough CO2 reduction to induce pinning, lol.

The polyfill with the fan on low should be more than enough to move the excess CO2 out of the tub.

First monotub grow and I'm just worried that if fruits take longer to grow, the Ph still drops because of the secretions over time as well.

If this seems confusing, I'm sorry.

Thanks for the help.

FAE, developing primordia thrive on it bro.
