Fear of over wattering

I fear ive over watered my plant jsut now, trying to test out my new straw going down directly to the roots...., HOW CAN I TELL IF I HAVE OVER WATERED THE PLANT, WHAT SIGNS WILL IT SHOW?
as in: Feeling of the plant, color, stem, leaves? what should i watch out for these next couple of days...

Oh and By the way, shock has gotten it pretty bad, it lost another set earlier, i cannot afford to lose 1 more set.. but another set is slowly slowly comming in, i dont knwo why so slowly, but yes, slowly lol..... but anyways, that was the 4-6th set lost due to shock...

Make sure there are some drainage holes in the bottom of the cup. When a little water comes out stop watering, and get that straw out of there.

why should i take the straw out? doesnt seem to harm anything, i seen a garden growing very well with a pvc pipe going down doing the same thing, this is jsut a miny model of that, and im hoping for the same results..

All your going to do is wet the bottom of the roots and deprive the entire top half of the root zone of water. The roots start just under the stem. Now if you were looking at Soma's set up the pvc is for air. Let me tell ya the best thing you can do for those plants and I'm not trying to be mean here but water em put em under a light and leave em the hell alone.
